Good afternoon everyone
The reduced Annual Flower Show was a pretty good success for the first since the pandemic, much scaled down from our normal Show but a decent re-start and thank you to everyone who supported on the day.
For clarification, there will be no meeting of the Society this coming Thursday 20 October 2022, our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday 17 November 2022 and we hope to have an interesting speaker on the evening. Further details will be given when this is confirmed.
Following that our next meeting will be a Christmas Social on Thursday 15 December 2022 at which Mince Pies and wine will be served along with some other nibbles. As usual we will have a Secret Santa for those members who wish to take part. Choose a gift up to the value of £10, wrap and place it on the table set aside for the gifts on the evening and raffle tickets will be issued for drawing for the gifts.
I hope everyone is in good health and look forward to seeing as many members as possible on 17 November 2022.
I will be handing over to Katherine shortly as the new secretary of the Society. If you wish to have your details removed from the list please let me know by end of this week in order that I can delete and pass on an accurate members list.
